Gorgon HP & LP Pipe Spooling

Pipe spooling and supports for Apache's Harriet B Platform.

The client requirement was 100% NDT on all welds, which was completed with zero defects.

Varanus Island Firewater Upgrade

Client: Apache Energy

Completion: December 2012


Approximately 1,150m of 100NB to 300NB pipe spooling (inc. pipe supports) for the Varanus Island Firewater Upgrade Phase 2A and 2C (carbon Steel).


  

CS1 Pig Receiver Refurbishment

Client: Apache Energy

Completion: April 2012


Fabrication of a smart plug spool and refurbishment of the CS1 pig receiver, including pneumatic testing at APS's premises.

Harriet Alpha Pipe Spooling

Client: Apache Energy

Completion: April 2012


Supply and fabrication of the Bambra 10 tie-in piping and p[ipe supports for Apache Energy's Harriet Alpha platform.

The contract required 185+ butts with 100% NDT, which were welded with no repairs. The work had to be turned around within a very right schedule to meet the timing requirements of the client and avaid costly delays for the pupmping of oil from the platform.

Harriet B Platform Pipe Spooling

Client: Apache Energy

Completion: April 2012


Pipe spooling and supports for Apache's Harriet B Platform.

The client requirement was 100% NDT on all welds, which was completed with zero defects.

Air-Intake Manifolds

Client: BendTech Engineering

Completion: September 2011


Fabrication of nine stainless steel airpulse manifolds for Woodside in Karratha.

The schedule was very tight, but with work around the clock APS managed to finish the manifolds on time.

  

TEG SAF2205 Pipe Spooling

Client: Apache Energy

Completion: July 2011


Fabrication of SAF2205 pipe spooling, including two flare masts for the East Spar Development.

The welders had to pass a G48A pitting and corrosion test to comply with client requirements.

Off-Shore Vessel Repair

Client: Apache Energy

Completion: July 2010


The client had no option but to de-rate this vessel due to its state of deterioration. Upon inspection APS recommended and carried out a regime of repairs that led to the Class 1 status of the vessel being retained.

NDT was performed after every layer of welding.


  

East Spar Pig Launchers

Client: TS Marine (now Fugro TSM)

Completion: April 2010


Supply and fabrication of three sub-sea pig launchers for Apache Energy's East Spar Development.

This order also included the fabrication of support frames and protection structures as well as an additional 60 bar flooding head.

The pig launchers were completely refurbished in September 2010.
